Yes, we will obtain your medical chart along with your biopsy and pathology reports, and Dr. Dupati will review your complete history prior to your initial skin check.

Who will perform my surgery?

Dr. Dupati will perform your surgery, whether it be a simple excision or precision Mohs surgery. Dr. Dupati is a double board-certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon with advanced training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

How long until I can be seen?

If you’re currently being treated for skin cancer, have a history of melanoma, or are managing an ongoing skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or acne, you can feel confident that your care will continue without interruption. My dermatologist recently retired or moved away. Can I transfer my care to Apollo Dermatology?

Absolutely. We welcome new patients who are transitioning from another dermatology practice. Our team will help you transfer your medical records and ensure your care continues as smoothly as possible.

I'm in the middle of treatment. Will I have to start over?

In most cases, no. Dr. Dupati will review your medical history, previous treatments, biopsy results, and pathology reports to continue your care with as little disruption as possible. Our goal is to build on your existing treatment plan while addressing your current needs.

Can Dr. Dupati continue monitoring my skin cancer?

Yes. Dr. Dupati has extensive experience diagnosing and treating skin cancer and provides ongoing skin cancer surveillance, routine skin examinations, biopsies, and advanced surgical treatment, including Mohs surgery when appropriate.

What if I've had Mohs surgery before?

Whether you’ve previously undergone Mohs surgery or have recently been diagnosed with skin cancer, Dr. Dupati can provide follow-up care, routine skin cancer screenings, and additional treatment if needed. Regular monitoring is an important part of preventing and detecting future skin cancers.

Will you request my medical records?

Yes. With your permission, our staff can help obtain your dermatology records, including office notes, pathology reports, biopsy results, and treatment history, so your transition is as seamless as possible.
